- Three Phase Aircooled: 3 kVA - 200 kVA
- IGBT-based PWM control system with dsPIC
Description:
The Static Voltage Stabiliser (SVS) is a PWM-type buck-boost voltage stabiliser based on IGBTs, providing tight regulation and fast correction speed. It uses a novel AC-to-AC switching topology that generates PWM directly without converting AC input to DC, thereby improving efficiency and reliability.
The power stage operates with an IGBT chopper at around 20 KHz, ensuring quiet operation and a pure sine wave output. The dsPIC senses the output voltage and adjusts the duty cycle of the PWM to maintain stable output without step changes.
Product USPs / Salient Features:
- Direct AC-AC conversion without rectifying to DC enhances efficiency and reliability
- Rapid cycle-by-cycle correction for sudden voltage fluctuations
- Compact size with small transformer (1/5th of the usual capacity)
- 20KHz PWM control for silent operation
- Solid-state design with no moving parts, ensuring longevity and low maintenance
- IGBT power stage for high reliability
